Diagnose

From notes to a next move

A next move is calendar-sized. Put it on the graph, assign a date or owner, then stop polishing the essay.

From notes to a next move

Reflection without a next move is a diary. Canopy's Diagnose ends with one move on purpose. Treat that line as a draft, then pin it as a node.

Make the move real

  1. Rewrite it so a stranger could check if it happened.
  2. Add a date or a person.
  3. Link it to the option it advances.
  4. If it is still research, turn it into an open question instead.

Then leave the map. Come back to check the move, not to re-argue the seed.

  • Diagnose

Read the map before you decide

Diagnose is a reading of the map you already built. Thin map, thin reading. Use it as a pause, not a verdict.

  • Studio

Keep open questions on the map

A missing answer is not a vibe. Put the question on the graph, then decide if you need a person, a number, or a search.

  • Diagnose

    When to run Diagnose

Diagnose costs a turn and freezes a reading. Use it when the graph stopped thrashing, not as a nervous tic.
