Local desk vs signed-in studio
Local means this browser only. Sign in to keep maps across devices and turn the agent on with a trial.
2 أكتوبر 2026 · 4 min
The studio works before you create an account. Maps live in this browser. Fine for a first sketch. Fragile if you clear storage or switch machines.
What signing in unlocks
- Maps on the account, not only this device.
- Agent turns and research once a trial or plan is active.
- Share links and revisions.
Merging local work
When you sign in with local maps present, Canopy offers a merge so you can keep what you sketched anonymously. Pick the maps you want. Do not assume a silent import always ran.
Billing detail lives in what the trial includes.

What the Canopy trial includesWithout an account the studio stays in the browser. The trial turns the agent on for seven days. Maps stay if you cancel.

Leave the map openYou do not have to finish in one sitting. A cold look at yesterday's notes often shows the drift you missed while talking.

Work one problem at a timeA messy desk usually holds three problems at once. Pick one sentence as the seed. Everything else hangs off that.
